Listening to old playlist over Valentines Day reminded me of this album from 2022. I was on a big Acadian/Chiac music kick at the time, see also P’tit Belliveau. Something about the rhythm of the language really hits for me, but even though I more or less know French and definitely know English, my lyric comprehension here is only about 80%. And Google Translate does an awful job with this stuff.
