This was my concept art I sent along to explain this commission. The Beast is based on the viral “Meat Clown” image which I learned is a German lunchmeat product called Billy Roll. The concept was: what if that thing was an animal. I gave him a lion’s tail for a bit of menace. I realized after the fact that the concept for this character was converging in my head on The Beast from 2000 Canadian childrens’ cartoon Maggie and the Ferocious Beast, so I added him in here too for reference. I.E, he looks a bit big and frightening but is actually a really nice guy. I’m not sure if they’re to scale though, I feel like Mort O’Della Beast is lunchmeat-sized, like a small dog.
